Fairfield Glade Candidate Meet & Greet – 2014

The Fairfield Glade (FFG) Democratic Club hosted a Democratic candidate Meet & Greet at Robin Hood Park on Saturday, July 12th.    Candidates and attendees were entertained by Carrie Hassler, a local talent and favorite of FFG residents.  Regardless of the hot day over one hundred residents came out to socialize, have lunch, and become more informed in politics both nationally and locally.  Early voting starts July 18th and Cumberland County constituents are ready.

National and state candidates who attended included John McKamey, running for Governor of Tennessee; Amos Powers, running for US House of Representatives; Judy Barnett and Mike Walsh, both of whom are running for Tennessee House of Representatives seats.

Constituents had the opportunity to speak with candidates: Dennis Gregg, Cumberland County Democratic Chair and candidate for State Executive Committeeman; Thom Hassler, candidate for County Mayor; Dean Farley, candidate for County Sheriff; Larry Sherrill, candidate for Circuit Court Clerk; Mike Walsh candidate for State Representative 42nd District and State Executive Committeeman; and Woody Geisler and John Kinnunen, candidates for 9th District County Commissioner.

Judicial District 13 candidates, Amy Hollars, Randy York, William Roberson, and Tony Craighead also attended.
